A hundred members from the BLIA Los Angeles Chapter celebrated Independence Day with other community groups yesterday at the Hacienda Heights July 4^th Parade. Ven. Man Jen, an American, from Hsi Lai Temple led the group down Stimson in Hacienda Heights chanting, “We love America, U.S.A.!” to the beat of a Taiko drum. Historical flags are the theme of the group’s entry, including the Gadsen, the Bennington, the First Navy Jack, and the Star Spangled Banner.
