Buddhist Seminar- BUDDHA AND HIS TEACHINGS

        BLAI Darjeeling had organized a Buddhist Seminar on 21st March in Manedara, Tukdah, in the district of Darjeeling on the topic BUDDHA AND HIS TEACHINGS. The seminar was presided over by Shree Buddha Kumar Moktan, the Principal of Tukdah Higher Secondary School. Shree Jambu Lama and Shree Nima Tshering Sherpa were the distinguished guests. Three hundred twenty three people including thirty members attended that seminar. The people have highly appreciated that program being organized by BLIA, Darjeeling. The people there have requested the BLIA, Darjeeling to organize a dharma talk program in another place too. Beside the seminar we, the members of BLIA, distributed the blankets and clothes to the poor and the needy people of that place. We have also been requested to organize a medical camp there as that is one of the remotest area of Darjeeling.
