children drew three good practices from heart

Sri Lanka, Asia

On January 17th, BLIA Sri Lanka Chapter went to the Padiyatalawa village in the Ampara District to distribute exercise books and stationery to 131 students from low income families. Supplementary to this function, a drawing contest was organised on the theme “Three Good Deeds” and it was delighted to see the warm inner feeling of the children in their drawings.

BLIA Sri Lanka abiding the headquarters’ promotion for an artistic children education and to cultivate their practice in daily life to do good, to speak good and to have good thoughts, organised a drawing contest for the village students.  Fifty-nine children from kindergarten to grade six drew from hearts as in their surrounding, for instant: going to the temple, offering to the monks, helping mother to do houseworks, feeding the brids, beautiful garden and so forth.
